A leading startup founded in 2019 that is redefining how B2B marketers access and act on their data through a powerful, data-driven platform. Their solution enables users to unify scattered datasets, connect marketing and sales tools, and create automated workflows for customer acquisition. The platform’s key strength lies in transforming insights into actionable results—and that’s where you can make a difference.
Having bootstrapped their way to nearly $1M in revenue within the first year, they attracted top-tier investors with a steady 20.1% month-over-month growth. Their investor network ($12 million) includes individuals from successful ventures spanning SaaS, tech infrastructure, and AI-driven platforms.
A small, close-knit, and distributed team of ~20 people, committed to delivering advanced data infrastructure originally designed for large tech companies—now accessible to marketing and sales teams globally. If you’re excited by the challenges of working at a startup but appreciate the sophisticated tools used by tech giants, this could be the right fit for you.
We’re looking for a Data Scientist with deep experience in growth marketing analytics and a track record of driving performance improvements. Your role will focus on integrating valuable insights directly into the platform so that users can make high-impact decisions at scale.
The Ideal Candidate:
You have hands-on experience solving problems like:
- Predicting and managing ad fatigue.
- Identifying top-performing campaigns and optimizing them in real time.
- Designing strategies for using email vs. paid ads effectively.
- Spotting underperforming customer segments early and addressing them proactively.
- Building real-time pipelines that power decision-making.
You’re also skilled in taking models from development to deployment—working with raw, messy data to build robust models that scale across production environments.
Key Challenges You’ll Tackle:
- Improving data acceptance and match rates on platforms like Google Ads and LinkedIn.
- Integrating new data types and enhancing data enrichment processes.
- Applying advanced methods, including deterministic and probabilistic techniques, to enhance first-party data onboarding and entity resolution.
If you enjoy converting complex data into actionable insights that guide business strategy, this role is built for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop productized marketing analytics features for optimizing creative, audience targeting, and performance marketing.
- Build, deploy, and maintain production-ready models that provide real-time insights to customers.
- Design, maintain, and optimize scalable data pipelines and ETLs for marketing performance data.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to seamlessly integrate insights into the product experience.
- Effectively communicate data-driven insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Analyze and improve audience match rates on platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook, and Google Ads.
- Evaluate and onboard new data sources to expand capabilities.
- Implement techniques for data normalization, transformation, and identity resolution.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or machine learning, preferably in performance or growth marketing.
- Expertise in productionizing models for real-world applications.
- Strong knowledge of marketing analytics, including churn prediction, campaign optimization, and creative fatigue management.
- Hands-on experience with ETL tools (experience with dbt, Airflow, or Prefect is a plus).
- Advanced proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, Scikit-learn) or equivalent analytical tools.
- Experience with modern data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Hex).
- Comfort working in a fast-paced startup environment, building solutions from scratch.
- Familiarity with large-scale data processing and distributed computing frameworks.
- Knowledge of software best practices, including unit testing and model documentation.
You’ll Succeed If You Have:
- Strong statistical, numerical, and data visualization skills.
- Clear, proactive communication, including translating technical concepts into business insights.
- A passion for solving complex data challenges.
- Familiarity with marketing concepts and terminology.
- High organizational skills and self-discipline to consistently deliver quality work.
