AI Developer Tools

Onsite 3 days in Palo Alto

AI is here to stay and our client has created an AI-powered development platform designed to enhance team productivity by providing context-aware assistance throughout the coding process. Their strong belief is that software should enhance developers, not replace them. It deeply understands large, complex codebases, enabling it to offer relevant code completions, suggest edits, and facilitate efficient collaboration among developers.

We’re looking for a Product Manager to join the mission to reimagine the developer experience with a fully code-centric AI stack. This is a foundational role where you’ll help shape product experiences from 0→1→2, working across a broad range of surfaces—from completions and chat to customer data admin, configuration, and beyond.

You’ll take ownership across every layer of product management, from big-picture strategy to hands-on execution, and play a critical role in driving the most important business outcomes.

What You’ll Do

  • Deeply understand developers: Collaborate with Developer Experience, Sales, and Marketing teams to identify user needs and uncover new product opportunities.
  • Drive alignment & outcomes: Set and guide outcome-focused goals across product lines.
  • Experiment & iterate quickly: Develop hypotheses, test them fast, and ship impactful features that deliver on core objectives.
  • Collaborate across teams: Partner closely with ML researchers, systems engineers, product designers, and frontend engineers to build delightful and meaningful developer experiences.
  • Continuously improve usability: Measure and optimize discoverability and adoption to help developers succeed

You Will

  • Foster a collaborative product culture that empowers everyone to contribute to building a great product.
  • Stay customer-obsessed and competitor-aware while maintaining focus on priorities.
  • Be the go-to expert for your product area and how developers interact with it.
  • Apply your intuition, taste, and experience to improve the product at every level.
  • Lead cross-functional efforts with design and engineering to define requirements and sequence initiatives effectively.

About You

  • 5–10 years of experience as a product manager in SaaS or developer-facing products.
  • Experience working directly with end users—or internal users in DevEx/Platform roles—especially with some exposure to B2C environments.
  • A genuine passion for LLMs and AI in all forms.
  • A proven ability to drive work forward and ship products that developers love.
  • Comfortable with programming concepts and navigating an IDE.
  • Strong product taste, organization skills, and an ownership mindset.
  • Highly collaborative—able to work closely with research, design, engineering, and product teams.

Bonus Points

  • Background in developer tools or platforms.
  • Experience with applied machine learning or developer-focused AI features.
  • Previous work with engineers as the end users.

Benefits

  • Flexible work hours
  • Competitive salary & equity
  • Tools stipend
  • Health, dental, vision, and life insurance
  • Short- and long-term disability
  • Unlimited PTO + holidays – we trust you to own your time
  • Frequent company-wide social events
