Senior Fullstack Developer

Onsite in San Francisco or New York City

Base to $210k plus equity

YC backed, our client has created a super powerful embedded analytics solution. Customers love using their product as it enables them to securely share customizable product analytics, project reports and KPIs with end-uers.

We are now helping them to expand their team across frontend, backend and fullstack engineering. They are building an awesome culture onsite in either SF or NYC, a non negotiable for the role.

As one of the first senior engineering hires, you will be a pivotal member of the company, leading key product and engineering decisions. You will own significant parts of the product architecture, engage directly with customers, collaborate with design to define the product, and help the business achieve its goals. As a member of the founding team, you will also contribute to decisions beyond engineering, from defining the product roadmap to shaping the go-to-market strategy. This position offers a unique opportunity to learn what it takes to turn a product into a thriving business.

What You Will Do

• Define Lasting Processes: Establish and own critical parts of the product architecture, with real ownership of high-priority projects.
• Product Improvement and Creation: Focus on enhancing existing products and developing new ones, providing substantial value to customers.
• System Creation: Build team-wide systems from the ground up, directly impacting best practices and shaping the engineering team’s processes and culture.
• Customer Interaction: Build products that people love, interacting with users daily to gather feedback and troubleshoot issues.
• Collaboration: Work directly with the product designer, product manager, and business team to scope and execute large projects.
• Team Dynamics: Be part of a dynamic engineering team and company culture that values collaboration, transparency, and autonomy.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: 4+ years of software engineering experience.
• Web Development: Experience with end-to-end web development.
• Technical Challenges: Enthusiasm for tackling hard technical problems, including frontend performance, custom charting libraries, scaling infrastructure, data engineering as a service, contributing to open source libraries, and creating resilient testing infrastructure.
• Preferred Skills: Experience with React, Redux, and TypeScript on the frontend and Django /python on the backend is preferred but not required.
