Platformatic Raises $4.3M Seed to Supercharge Node.js Development
Platformatic, a cloud-native platform that simplifies Node.js backend development, has raised $4.3 million in seed funding, led by Rialto Ventures. Founded by Luca M. and Matteo Collina, Platformatic aims to tackle the complexities of distributed systems, making it easier for enterprises to scale and manage their Node.js applications. New features like the Watt Application Server and Intelligent Autoscaler are designed to optimize performance and reduce operational challenges for developers. With this funding, the Platformatic team is set to accelerate its product development and further address the needs of enterprises building with Node.js.

Raycast Secures $30M Series B to Tackle Workplace Context Switching
Productivity software company Raycast has raised $30 million in Series B funding to help reduce workplace context switching and boost focus. Since its 2020 launch, Raycast has become a go-to tool for software engineers, product developers, and designers, allowing users to interact with multiple apps without leaving their workflow. Co-founders Thomas Paul Mann and Petr Nikolaev are excited to expand Raycast to Windows and iOS, building on their success with a strong Mac user base and over 1,500 open-source extensions. Sieve Unveils SieveSync to Advance Lip Sync Pipelines
Sieve, co-founded by Mokshith Voodarla and Abhinav A., has launched SieveSync, an open-source zero-shot lip sync pipeline. The tool allows developers to optimize facial alignment in video and audio applications, giving them flexibility in building AI-powered video solutions. “Excited to see more developers tweak, modify, and build on top of this work,” said Voodarla. Airbyte has officially released Airbyte 1.0, a long-anticipated upgrade that enhances how companies move and manage data.
