🏆 DevTools Funding Wins

Daytona Raises $24M Series A for “a computer for every agent”

Earlier this month, Daytona raised a $24M Series A led by FirstMark Capital, with Matt Turck joining the board. CEO and co-founder Ivan Burazin is positioning Daytona sandboxes as “programmatic, composable computers” that agents can start, pause, fork, snapshot, and destroy on demand. FirstMark calls it a shift from “human-centric cloud primitives to agent-native ones,” aiming for instant startup, persistent state, and safe code execution at scale.

🚀 Congrats to Ivan Burazin and team, read the full announcement.

Portkey Lands $15M to Put Governance at the Heart of Production AI

Portkey raised $15M in a Series A led by Elevation Capital, with participation from Lightspeed. Co-founder and CEO Rohit Agarwal notes that the biggest operational challenges have shifted from hallucinations to API failures and rate limits. Portkey acts as a unified control plane for production AI, sitting in the path of traffic to enforce policy and track spend in real time. The company currently manages over 500 billion tokens daily across 24,000 organisations.

🎉Great news Portkey, read the funding write-up.

Closing the Trust Gap as Code Metal Banks $125M

Code Metal raised $125M in a Series B led by Salesforce Ventures, with participation from Accel and B Capital. The company builds neuro-symbolic AI that mathematically proves code is correct before deployment in mission-critical environments like defence and aerospace. Its platform is already being used by the United States Air Force and L3Harris to move software between systems and improve performance in high-stakes environments.

From Prompt and Pray to Policy Driven as Straion Secures €1.1M

Straion raised a €1.1M Seed round led by Marathon VC to help teams govern AI coding at scale. Co-founders Lukas Holzer, Fabian Friedl, and Katrin Freihofner are building a rule hub that transforms static documentation into active, machine-readable guardrails. The platform integrates with Claude Code, Cursor, and Copilot to validate AI plans before implementation begins, ensuring code follows specific Kafka naming conventions or PII masking protocols.

🚀 New DevTools Launched

Anakin ships a scraping API that returns clean JSON from complex sites

Anakin (YC S21) is a scraping API built for developers who need reliable extraction from modern sites, including JavaScript-heavy pages and those behind login walls. You provide a URL and the tool handles headless browsers, proxy rotation, and anti-bot evasion. It abstracts browser execution and DOM parsing into a single API, returning clean JSON, HTML, or Markdown. This infrastructure is designed to handle retries and authenticated session management without the usual operational overhead.

🧪 Give Anakin a go for your next project.

Compresr rolls out context compression for LLM pipelines and agent workflows

Compresr (YC W26) is a context management tool designed to reduce token spend and latency for teams running long-context LLM pipelines. The launch includes an SDK and an open-source compression proxy that integrates with Claude Code and OpenClaw. In the product announcement, founder Ivan Zakazov said the company helps you “boost context management with 100x compression” by shrinking long context down to the essentials a model needs for a specific request.

Kilo Code launches KiloClaw, a hosted OpenClaw, live on Product Hunt

Kilo Code has launched KiloClaw to provide a fully managed, cloud-hosted version of the open-source OpenClaw agent. The platform removes the need for manual environment configuration and local hardware by offering one-click deployment and native access to 500 models. In his announcement of the launch, CEO Scott Breitenother explained that the goal was to build a service that removes technical friction points, stating,

“KiloClaw is a fully managed, cloud-hosted OpenClaw that removes these friction points: one-click deploy, no SSH, no API keys, no Mac Mini required.”
