Launched in 2021 and with $250k in funding, our client set out to improve the world’s ML data more easily and quicker than any other solution. Using their tools, they can enable AI systems to train more reliably on real-world, messy and often error-prone data. Developing next-generation data-centric AU, open-source algorithms and providing no-code SaaS enterprise solutions to help individuals and teams at companies (across all industries) diagnose/fix issues in their datasets and produce more reliable ML models by providing clean labels for training. What makes them different? Many companies can help store/manage data or develop ML models, there exist few solutions today to improve the quality of existing data, which is the core asset of the modern enterprise. This is where you come in.

Joining a company that now employs over 20 and with $30 million in funding, we are hiring 2 x Senior MLOps engineers

We’re looking for someone with strong engineering skills and experience productionizing code/models in cloud environments, while maintaining the necessary infrastructure. You should be comfortable with large software systems.

We do not require deep knowledge of ML algorithms, but candidates must have previously worked on the infrastructure to support many ML and Data projects at previous companies

Role responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure for a web application that has many users, each with many datasets/models, some of which are quite large.
• Work on large-scale ML projects with enterprise customers, from inception to production.
• Collaborate with other engineers to build and maintain large-scale systems and establish a strong engineering culture across the company.
• Pioneer novel software systems for the rapidly growing field of data-centric AI. These tools enable data scientists/engineers (across all industries) to effectively diagnose/fix issues in their datasets thus improving the quality of their business’s core asset.
• Work on cutting-edge MLOps with guidance from MIT PhDs who are prominent in ML research.
• Work with a modern tech stack (the latest tooling and ML models) at a dynamic startup.

You should have:

• 5+ years of experience in MLOps. Schoolwork or general data science work does not count here, you should have tackled hard MLOps challenges at companies dealing with massive datasets, reliable model serving, cloud infrastructure, etc.
• Experience with Python (pandas, polars), Relational databases, AWS, Sagemaker, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD e.g. Jenkins, Flask/Django
• Experience working on the infra to support many ML and data projects at their previous companies.
• Relevant experience at top tier tech companies with the best infrastructure
• CS degree from top-tier university (Ivies, MIT, Stanford, CMU, etc.)
• Lives in SF and is excited to join the team in-office at least few days a week.
• Previous startup experience
• Experience with Sagemaker, MLflow, Databricks, Snowflake, Redshift, ELT/ETL tools, OpenAI, LangChain
